About Us

It all started in 2003 as a partnership between Teresa Andrion and Lori Leland, with ideas for their new venture literally written out on a napkin at dinner one evening. A new kind of talent agency was launched... one that took to heart the desires of actors to be able to personally connect with their agents. An agency that changed public perspective of a talent agent from that of a grumpy, impatient, and harsh negotiator to that of a cheerful, enthusiastic, and energetic problem solver. This new direction was embraced, and the agency continues to grow steadily each year - attracting the strongest talent pool in Texas and surrounding areas and consistently meeting the needs of casting directors, photographers, ad agencies, and production companies.

Welcome to Core Talent, a family owned and operated, full-service talent agency based in Dallas, Texas. We represent adults and children for all types of work, including film, commercials, industrials, print, live events, music, voiceover, and more. We work tirelessly to meet the individual needs of our clients, approaching each project with a fresh outlook and a commitment to success. We pride ourselves on the quality and professionalism of the talent we represent and make fostering a supportive environment for them a top priority. Monthly Mixers with industry guests are ongoing for adults 21 and up, Encore! is our social group for ages 13-20, and our youngest members have the opportunity to join the Core Kids Club. Spring is the time for our annual all-agency picnic and softball game, and everyone loves getting all decked out in costume at our Fall Halloween party. Our staff members are often seen around town at industry events and performances, cultivating new relationships and educating themselves on new and innovative ideas that can be incorporated into the way we do business.
